Concept Kitchens – CK - is proud of the high standard of workmanship and service we give every job. To aid in achieving this and to make the production and installation process as smooth as possible we need to know as much detail as possible. When quoting, CK offers its customers one free consultation and one free plan change. Should further changes be required prior to CK receiving confirmation (quote signed and deposit paid), these changes will incur a $80 fee per redraw of the plan. This will be deducted from the overall cost and therefore free when we proceed with your project.
Our plans need to be signed by the customer prior to CK manufacturing any cabinets. Make sure you have checked them carefully and understand what you have ordered.
The specifications of all appliances and installation instructions are required early on in the design process. Electric and Gas Hobs need to be on site at time of installation. Induction Hobs, Ovens, Microwaves with Trim Kits, Integrated Panel Kits, and Rangehood power packs should be at CK three weeks prior to manufacturing of cabinets so we can do a trial fit to ensure a perfect fit when installed.
Generally, the Kitchen is fitted ahead of any floor coverings but please contact Concept Kitchens to discuss. If the cabinets go to the ceiling, we need to know if the ceiling coving is to go in front of the cabinets or if it is square stopped or under a bulkhead. All walls, overhead bulkheads and ceilings need to be thoroughly finished prior to kitchen installation - this to be discussed with Concept Kitchens well in advance of installation.
Stone and Stainless Steel tops require 10-14 days to fabricate from the time of templating which is carried out as soon as the cabinetry is installed. We require access to your house for two days during the installation period. Detailed plans can be released once the initial 50% deposit is paid. Final payment needs to be made at least three days prior to dispatch of cabinets from our factory so that they show as cleared funds.
Good communication is vital between the customer and CK. If you have any queries, worries or requests, don’t hesitate to contact us. We also need to be able to contact you at short notice if an issue needs to be resolved. Please let us know if there are any changes to the space we are installing cabinets into following the completion of our final measure.
